Inspection robotics for industrial plants
Whether deployment pays off for your plant, what legal compliance documentation is required and where projects actually fail. Across manufacturers, with sources and applicable legal cut-off date.
Where to start
Three guides lead through the decision – from the question of whether deployment pays off, through the legal compliance documentation, to works council co-determination.
Guide for operators
Whether mobile inspection robotics pays off at your own site, which design fits and what a realistic project schedule looks like.
CE conformity
Which legal acts apply, who is liable for what and how an EU declaration of conformity can be checked in six steps.
Data protection and co-determination
What the works council and data protection require before a robot carries out its first inspection round.
A specific question? Frequently asked questions
By industry
Which inspection tasks can be handed over, which sensors are needed and where the limits lie – for six types of plant in detail.
Robot database
Every manufacturer lists specifications. What no product overview tells you is the question that decides procurement: may this model be operated in Germany?
We record models across manufacturers – with the usual technical data, and in addition the documented certification status and the availability on the European market. Every value with its source and date of check.
- Technical data
- Dimensions, payload, runtime, ingress protection
- Certification status
- documented, researched or open – per compliance evidence
- EU availability
- Distribution channel and market access
- Source and date of check
- per value, not per record
How we work
Every entry names its sources and the date it was checked. Where information is missing, we say so explicitly. Corrections are marked as such, not incorporated silently.
For manufacturers and distributors
Inclusion in the robot database covers all manufacturers, is independent of any business relationship and free of charge.
