Does the robot work in tunnels without reception?

Yes. Navigation is based on LiDAR mapping and requires no satellite signal.

Two practical points must be noted. First, very uniform tunnel tubes are demanding for localisation – a practical test is advisable here. Second, automated operation requires a charging station in the tunnel; without a power connection at a suitable location, the automated system becomes a transportable one.

Where oxygen deficiency or gas accumulations are possible, gas sensors belong in the payload.
